GREENSBURG – Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller’s office invites local residents to attend a free fraud prevention workshop Monday, Sept. 23.
A presentation will be given on the latest scams and how consumers can protect themselves from becoming a victim of fraud or identity theft. Participants do not have to register and there is no charge to attend.
The workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Greensburg First Baptist Church located at 209 W. Washington Street.
The event is sponsored by the Greensburg Lions Club. Amy Wardlow, outreach services specialist with the Attorney General’s Office, will share information on the importance of protecting personal and financial information, and how to check your credit report and place a freeze on your credit.
