K.B. Specialty Foods to celebrate 40 years in Greensburg

GREENSBURG – K.B. Foods will be celebrating their 40th year of business with an event at their plant at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, right after the Fall Festival Parade. With a warm sense of welcome, K.B. Specialty Foods has invited everyone in the community to attend their celebration.

Plant tours will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and guest speakers will begin at 1 p.m. Among the speakers will be Mayor Gary Herbert, K.B. General Manager Nick Cortolillo, Greensburg-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Emsweller, Rick Padgett, Kroger Company Director of Operations Matt Saruwatari and Erin Sharp from the Kroger Company.

Food booths with a general assortment of foods produced by Kroger suppliers will be available to attendees.

A DJ will be providing music during the event and various Kroger suppliers will be on hand with information at vendor booths.

There is no charge for attending the 40th anniversary celebration at K.B. Specialty Foods, which is located at 1225 North Broadway Street.

K.B. Specialty Foods opened its doors in December of 1973 and has been producing quality food products ever since.

Since its opening, the dedicated team of employees has focused on safety, quality and reliability in order to provide their customers with superior products at good prices. The company is known for deli salads and cake icing sold at Kroger locations.
