Pirate JH harriers beat Lions

The Greensburg junior high cross country teams entered an inhospitable Lion’s den Monday night, but came out victorious!

The Lady Pirates’ total of 16 points, nearly perfect, scored against Rushville’s 46 as the girls took six of the top seven positions at the finish line. The Royal Blue singlets swept over the red as 15 Greensburg girls beat Rushville’s fifth varsity runner. Morgan Winkler was the race champion for the evening with teammates Cathy Newhart and Cameron Jones close behind.

Million wins fourth race

The boys cross country team also defeated the Lions 24-33.

Eric Million led the field from the beginning of the race to the finish. It is his fourth individual win this season.
