Boys season opener moved to Greensburg

The location of the boys basketball season-opening game between Greensburg and North Decatur has been moved from North Decatur to Greensburg.

The Tuesday, Nov. 26 game will be played at Greensburg, but it will be a home game for North Decatur.

North Decatur season passes will be honored, but Greensburg season passes will not be honored.

Pirate wrestling Blue/White Scrimmage

The Greensburg wrestling program will conduct a Blue/White Scrimmage Thursday night. A parents meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., and the scrimmage will follow at 7 p.m.

More winter previews this week

The previews for the Greensburg and North Decatur girls basketball teams, which open Friday night, will be published tomorrow.

Pirate Nation Appreciation Nov. 16

The Greensburg boys basketball team has organized Pirate Nation Appreciation, which is set for this Saturday in the high school’s main gym.

Greensburg invites fans to enjoy an evening of basketball, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The night will include introduction of the 2013-2014 GCHS varsity boys basketball team, a squad scrimmage, and an opportunity for fans to compete against their choice of players.

Spiritwear will be available for purchase, and concessions will be made available.

Admission is one nonperishable food item.
