Pirate golf practices approaching

Any Greensburg High School girl interested in playing golf this Fall should contact Coach Terry Alverson at 317-501-5584, contact the Athletic office at the high school, or show up for one of the summer sessions, which are at 10 a.m. every day of the week (not weekends), and will end next Thursday, July 25.

This notice is for anyone who has not participated in the summer golf clinic.

Students need a physical, code of conduct, concussion form, and if not previously signed, a drug code form completed before they are able to participate in any practices or matches.

Mandatory practices will start July 29 and will be at the Greensburg Country Club at 10 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 3:45 p.m. of the first week.

Thereafter, practices will be after school at 3:45 p.m.

South JH practice starts July 29

The South Decatur junior high football practice starts next Monday, July 29 at 3:30 p.m. Players must have a physical to practice.

South cross country camp set

South Decatur is hosting a cross country camp next week.

The camp will take place from Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26 at the high school, and is open to students in grades six through high school level.

The cost is $15, which includes a T-shirt.

Those interested must have a physical to participate.

The Redlegs Baseball Club will be conducting 13U tryouts for the 2014 season on two upcoming dates: Thursday, Aug. 8 at the Geneva Rec Center in Scipio at 6 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 10 at Kohler Park in Greensburg at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
