7 .m. - Tree County Players presents The Fantasticks at South Decatur High School. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 18 and under.

July 27 and 28

Decatur County Equine Enthusiast Speed Show at Decatur County fairgrounds. Show starts at noon Saturday, 11 a.m. Sunday. Contestants will compete in contest including barrel racing, pole bending and more. Concessions available on the grounds. For more information, call 812-593-2815.

July 29

1 p.m. - Bridge at Greensburg Adult Center.

1:30 p.m. - Scrabble at Greensburg Adult Center.

2 to 4 p.m. - Teen Historical Fiction Book Club at library. Register online.

July 30

1 to 3 p.m. - Greensburg Adult Center dance with “Scoop” and the Guys.

6 p.m. - Good Shepherd Christian Academy orientation meeting for preschool and elementary students.

July 31

10:30 a.m. - Free summer movie at Wolf Theatres: The Pirates! Band of Misfits.

1 to 3 p.m. - Euchre at Greensburg Adult Center.

1:30 p.m. - Canasta at Greensburg Adult Center.

4 to 6 p.m. - Kids’ Closet of Decatur County will be open at First Christian Church of Greensburg.

Aug. 1

8 a.m. - First day of school for preschool and elementary students at Good Shepherd Christian Academy.

4:30 p.m. - St. John’s Lutheran Church of Napoleon will host monthly coffee social with ham, German potato salad, homemade coffee cakes and more. Everyone is welcome; carryouts available.

Aug. 2

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Plein-Air Paint Out on the courthouse square. Participants receive continental breakfast, bottled water, sack lunch and chance to win door prizes.

2 p.m. - Farmer’s Market on the courthouse square.

Aug. 3

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Plein-Air Paint Out on the courthouse square. Reception follows; details at www.artsingreensburg.com.

Aug. 5

1 to 6:30 p.m. - St. Maurice Church, Napoleon, is sponsoring a community blood drive at the Parish Activity Center. All donors will received a Hoxworth Summer t’-shirt.

Aug. 7

8:45 to 9:30 a.m. - Columbus Star Quilter’s Guild will hold a special meeting. The meeting will be an auction of the items from the generous sewing stash donation made by Carol Duncan. It will be held at the Masonic Lodge at 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus. There is no charge to attend the auction.
