Decatur County Events Calendar

June 27

8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Greensburg Adult Center trip to Muncie.

9 to 11 a.m. – Coffee and conversation at Greensburg Adult Center.

Girls invite softball tournament at Decatur County Youth Sports Complex.

11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Greensburg First Presbyterian Church will host an Ice Cream Social. The charge is a free-will offering. Proceeds will benefit the Agape Center Summer Program.

1:30 p.m. – Greensburg Adult Center bowling at Parkside Lanes.

2 p.m. – Visit from Ronald McDonald family program at Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library.

6:30 p.m. – Bridge at Greensburg Adult Center.

June 28

Girls invite softball tournament at Decatur County Youth Sports Complex.

2 p.m. – Kick off for 2014 Decatur County Relay for Life at fairgrounds. Event will continue throughout the night.

June 29

10 a.m. – Closing ceremony for the 2014 Decatur County Relay for Life.

Girls invite softball tournament at Decatur County Youth Sports Complex.

8 a.m. to noon – Registration for Tree City Classics Car Show at Rebekah Park. $10 pre-registration fee or $12 the day of the show. Awards will be given at 3 p.m. Event to include: top 50 trophies, dash plaques, DJ, door prizes, concessions. Proceeds to benefit Kayden Hogg, who has leukemia. 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Annual St. Maurice church festival in Napoleon dinner and games. Meals are $9 for adults and $4 for children under the age of 12.

June 30

1:30 p.m. – Scrabble at Greensburg Adult Center.

5 p.m. – Greensburg Housing Authority Board meets at City Hall.

6 p.m. – Euchre at Greensburg Adult Center.

All Day – Wii games at Greensburg Adult Center.

All July – International Crafts and Artifacts exhibit at the Decatur County Historical Society (222 N. Franklin Street.) The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday. Items from 20 countries will be available for view.
