GREENSBURG – The Decatur County Community Action Coalition is pleased to announce the first Smoke-Free Family Day at the 4-H fair.
“In keeping with our mission to reduce the unhealthy effects of smoking in our county, we are pleased to announce Family Day, Wednesday, July 16, will be smoke-free at this year’s 4-H fair,” said CAC Council President Laura Welborn. “We thank the 4-H fair board for helping us make this a reality.”
CAC council members will be on hand during Family Day to pass out gum balls and other CAC items to remind visitors about the evening’s smoke-free atmosphere.
The CAC works to encourage healthy choices by curbing tobacco, alcohol and drug abuse in Decatur County, especially among youth. For more information on the CAC, please visit www.decaturcocac.org.
