INDIANAPOLIS — The constantly evolving energy landscape has Hoosier businesses on the hunt for reliable, affordable and clean energy as ways to boost energy efficiency and the bottom line.
To assist leaders with strategies on managing energy costs, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 11th Annual Indiana Conference on Energy Management August 13-14 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis.
A number of prominent industry guest speakers will headline the conference. Among them: American Chemistry Council President and CEO Cal Dooley, who will speak on August 14 at 8:15 a.m. about creating natural gas from shale and how this can help to create energy security and economic growth. American Institute of Petroleum President Jack Gerard has been invite to kick off the opening general meeting at noon August 13.
Agenda highlights include educational break-out sessions in which industry experts and government officials will present information on reducing energy costs, increasing energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and emerging technologies.
An energy expo with vendors representing a number of energy-related industries and a gala reception takes place August 13.
The cost to attend is $299 for Indiana Chamber members; $329 for non-members; $199 for government employees. Group discounts are available.
