Sandcreek Baptist Church

Because of the 4-H fair, last week’s softball game was postponed and will be rescheduled at a later time.

The team continues to have a good fellowship time and even though they lost their last game they played with “gusto!” There were some good base hits and even a HOME RUN. What

excitement and all for FREE!!!! Remember our games are at the New Point diamond. Ladies, keep looking among your sewing items and see if you have any material or trims you can donate to the ABWM for those upcoming “pillowcase dresses” we’ll be assembling to send to needy children and young girls in Africa and other countries.

We’ll also accept cash and purchase the supplies for you. Remember to pray for our youth and adult leaders that are attending church camp. Pray that their time away from everyday happenings will draw them closer to God.

Even though we’re not at church camp we, too, can set aside time to just “get away” to a quiet spot and get closer to God. Try it, I’m sure you’ll like it. Hope to see you in church on Sunday. Bring a guest and/or your whole family.

Liberty Baptist Church

Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Thankful Hearts Class lesson, “Fasting And Praying” will be taken from Ezra 7: 6-10, 8:21-23. The Devotional Reading coming from: 2 Chronicles 7:12-18, and the Background Scripture: Ezra 7:1 - 8:23. We welcome all to come and join in a wonderful time of sharing and learning.

Church Service will be in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor David Blazier bringing the sermon. We welcome all to come join us for a time of worship, praise, prayer, and fellowship.

Beginning the first of September, Liberty Baptist Church will be moving their Sunday School classes to begin at 10 a.m. with church services beginning at 11 a.m. We welcome all to come join us at these new times this fall. May God bless all.
