Greensburg — A three-car accident on Michigan Avenue Tuesday afternoon near Harvest Market resulted in four people being taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

According to investigating officer Wayne Shake of the Greensburg Police Department, injuries to the four — Mary Corbin, 65, Rose Corbin, 31, Elijah Corbin, 8, and James Davis, 24 — were non-life-threatening.

Captain Brian Wenning of the Greensburg Fire Department added that the victims complained of neck and back pain, and dizziness.

All three cars were southbound on Michigan, with Rose, Mary and Elijah Corbin, who are mother, daughter and grandchild, making a left-hand turn into Harvest Market in a 2003 Kia Spectra.

Davis was waiting behind the Corbins in a 1993 Ford Escort station wagon, reportedly also making a left-hand turn, when Sharon Clark of Greensburg failed to stop her 2006 Malibu LT.

Clark’s car smashed into the Escort, driving it into the Kia. All three cars were towed from the scene by Acra Automotive.

In addition to the GPD and GFD, the Decatur County EMS also responded to the scene.
