Greensburg Mayor Gary Herbert was recognized by a state organization for completing education sessions for municipal leaders.
The Indiana Association of Cities and Towns, a group of officials from more than 470 municipalities, awarded Herbert the Silver Certificate in Advanced City Leadership. Herbert completed six day-and-a-half courses of continuing education concerning municipal leadership. The courses covered topics including healthcare reform, revitalization and cost efficiencies.
“The Mayors who earn these certificates are dedicated to continuing education and participating in conversations that provide ideas and solutions to challenges that our cities are facing,” said Matt Greller, IACT executive director and CEO.
