Decatur County Events Calendar

May 9

2 to 6 p.m. – Farmer’s Market on the south side of the courthouse square. This day includes YMCA fitness classes on the lawn and the “Second Friday Movie on the Lawn,” The Sandlot, at dusk.

4 to 8 p.m. – Junk in the Trunk rummage sale downtown.

6:30 p.m. – Bridge at Greensburg Adult Center.

7 p.m. – Shrek the Musical at Greensburg Community High School

May 10

8 a.m. – Purdue Extension/4H Color Me Green 5K race at Decatur County Fairgrounds. Open to everyone, registration at 8 a.m., race at 9 a.m.

7 to 10 a.m. – All you can eat breakfast at the Greensburg Masonic Lodge, located at 1100 E. Central Avenue, Greensburg. The charge is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under. The menu will include eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and toast, with coffee, orange juice, and milk. Carryouts available. 10 a.m. – The Tree City TEA Party will meet at 2048 W CR 250 South, Greensburg.

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Chargers Car and Truck Show rummage sale at North Decatur Elementary School. Event is sponsored by North Decatur Elementary PTO. For more information, call Holly Wagner at 812-593-8542.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Geocaching for beginners at Greensburg library.

7 p.m. – Shrek the Musical at Greensburg Community High School.

May 11

Mother’s Day

7:30 to 11 a.m. – Mother’s Day breakfast at Knights of St. John Hall in Greensburg. For information call Normal Wolter 663-8092.

3 p.m. – Shrek the Musical at Greensburg Community High School.

May 12

9:15 to 10:15 a.m. – Zumba Gold class at Greensburg Adult Center.

1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Living Healthy Workshop at Greensburg Adult Center.
