Baby show scheduled for Saturday

The annual Decatur County 4-H Fair Baby Show is set for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, on the free stage. The date was incorrectly listed in the fair book.

History of fashion on display at museum

Check out the current exhibit at the Decatur County Historical Museum, “Clothing Maketh the Man and Woman.” This is a display of clothing from the last 150 years featuring items from the museum’s archives and things on loan from individuals in the community.

Cool off with Summer Reading pool party

This event takes place at Allen Memorial Pool at the city park from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 10. Registration is required, but cannot be done online. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children must have completed level one of the reading program in order to attend. If you are not sure if the child is eligible for the pool party or if they are registered, call the Library’s Children’s Room at 663-4455.
