North's Hoover leads Charger runners

The North Decatur cross country teams competed at Morristown Monday night.

The Charger boys took second, 27-30. The North girls scored a perfect 15, as Morristown ran an incomplete squad. Sophomore Megan Hoover won with a time of 20:28.

Morristown’s Garrett Young won the boys race with a time of 18:56.

Brady Holloway took second overall for North while leading his team. He clocked a 19:11. Arek Holloway followed, placing fourth with a 19:56.

The Charger harriers next compete against rival South Decatur tonight (Thursday).
