Tebbe to run for prosecutor

GREENSBURG – Christopher M. Tebbe announced his candidacy for Decatur County Prosecutor Tuesday.

Tebbe is a local attorney and has been practicing law with Frank Hamiton, Jr. at Hamilton & Tebbe Law Office, P.C. for the past 13 years. During this time, Tebbe has represented and assisted clients on a variety of legal needs and issues. The candidate grew up in Greensburg and is a 1992 graduate of Greensburg High School.

He is a 1996 graduate of Xavier University in 1996. After graduation from IU Indy law school in 2000, he returned to Greensburg as an attorney and joined Frank Hamiton’s law practice.

Chris is married to Kristy, who is guidance counselor at South Decatur High School, and they have two sons, Isaac and Abe, who go to school at St. Mary’s.

As a lifetime resident of Decatur County, Tebbe is excited about the opportunity to serve the public in the role of prosecuting attorney. The candidate believes that his experience in private practice as well as assisting and counseling individuals on their legal needs has prepared him to be an effective prosecuting attorney.

The attorney is also involved in several community organizations and has made relationships with people in Decatur County beyond his clients. He sees his role as prosecuting attorney as an opportunity to continue to do his part in making Decatur County a safe and inviting place to live and work.
