Auto Expo unites manufacturing experts from across the country

Greensburg — The 2013 Southern Indiana Automotive Expo will be held June 20 and 21 in Greensburg, and hosted by the Greensburg Decatur County Economic Development Corporation (EDC).

Auto related companies from Indiana, the Midwest, and as far away as South Carolina and Washington State will attend this event to exhibit their manufacturing and service capabilities. Opportunities still exist for sponsorships, exhibitors, and attendees at the Auto Expo.

Featured speakers for first day of the Auto Expo will be Bob Nelson, President of Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN), and Brian Harlow, Vice President, Chrysler Group, LLC.

Additionally, there will be four great panelists discussing pertinent automotive topics on the second day, June 21. Those individuals are Randy Cyman, Human Resources Manager for One Solution Logistics (HMIN logistics provider), German Bosherz, Research & Development Director  Valeo Thermal Systems NA; State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg), and Kris Kyler, owner of CNG Fuel Inc.  

The full schedule of events for the 2013 Southern Indiana Automotive Expo is as follows:

Wednesday, June 19

3 to 8 p.m. - vendor set-up

Thursday, June 20

7:30 to 9 a.m. - vendor set-up

9 to 11 a.m. - registration

11 a.m. to noon - Keynote speaker, Bob Nelson

Noon to 1 p.m. - lunch

1:15 to 4 p.m. - exhibit hall open

4 to 5 p.m. - Keynote speaker, Brian Harlow

5 to 6 p.m. - cocktail hour and networking

Friday, June 21

8 to 9 a.m. - continental breakfast

9 a.m. to noon - exhibit hall open

10 a.m. to noon - panel discussion
