Greensburg woman charged with felony drug dealing

Greensburg — A Greensburg woman is currently held at the Decatur County Jail without bond, charged with Dealing in a Schedule II Controlled Substance.

The charge is a class "A" felony.

Charging information filed Aug. 7 in the Decatur Circuit Court states Tonya M. Innis, 36, of Greensburg has been formally charged with the felony crime stemming from an undercover operation in which she is alleged to have sold four 30 mg Morphine Sulfate pills to a cooperating police source (CS) for $60.

According to the police report describing the investigation, the CS told a GPD officer that he’d previously purchased illegal substances from a suspect with whom Innis has been linked.

The CS told police Innis had called and offered to sell morphine pills.

The alleged transaction occurred April 11, near the vending machines at the entrance of Vista Village Trailer Park on 2034 North Moscow Road.

No trial date has been set, and the date of Innis’ next court appearance is unknown at press time.

According to Decatur County Courthouse records, Innis, has an extensive arrest history, dating back several years.
