Greensburg — The recently-opened MDL Coffee and Tea Company will be offering “30 Days of Thanks” by giving back to the community.

From now until Thanksgiving, customers will have the opportunity to write down something they’re thankful for and receive a discounted coffee. Customers will also be able to leave a donation of any size for the Agape Center.

The Agape Center involves a coalition of churches which, in harsh economic times, will assist individuals with bills or other needs.

MDL owner Dr. Michael Layne is eager to give back to the community. “We feel a strong need to assist in anyway we can to help people, and that includes giving them an opportunity to express their thanks,” he mentioned in a press release.

The store is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MDL can be reached at 812-662-5154.

The Decatur County Ecumenical Agape Center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday. The Agape Center is located at 833 N Lincoln Street and can be reached by phone at 812-222-4273.
