Pirate netters fall to Silver Creek

---- — The Greensburg boys tennis team fell to host Silver Creek Saturday 3-2.

The Pirates are now 11-6 on the season.

At first singles, senior Collin Rigney swept Brennan Thompson 6-0 6-0. The win improves Rigney’s season record to 16-0.

Senior Riley Burkert at second singles improved to 10-3 on the season with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Nick Sprinkle.

Greensburg sophomore David Lawrence (6-7) fell to Max Moore at third singles, 6-1, 6-1.

At first doubles, the senior duo of Kyle Colson (9-4) and Tom Lawrence (9-5) fell to Anthony Less and Jake Steele 6-1, 2-6, 10-6.

Junior Kevin Beaver (8-6) and Keegan McCullough (8-5) fell to Gabe Bauer and Isaac Corum 7-6, 6-0.
