The Greensburg and North Decatur football teams both suffered season-ending defeats on their home turf Friday night.
Greensburg led early and fought to pull away from Indianapolis Marshall, but the visiting Patriots seized momentum and maintained a lead the entire second half. The Pirates fell 32-27 despite a late comeback as three turnovers in the final six possessions aided the Patriots.
Greensburg ends the season at 6-4 a year after winning the sectional championship on the same field. Marshall improves to 6-3.
