Norma Jean Rathburn, 65 passed away on May 3, 2008 at 5:48 a.m. at the Columbus Regional Hospital.

She was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on April 20, 1943 to Turner and Zella (Shephard) Caine.

She graduated from Knightstown High School in 1963 and from beauty college in 1964. She had been a Greensburg resident since 1965. She worked as a nanny for the Stapp family and was an employee and volunteer for the Decatur County Chapter of the American Red Cross. She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing word search puzzles and was an avid Yahtzee player.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Voiles Tuttle Stevens of Greensburg; her sons, Thomas Voiles of Anaheim, Calif. and William D. Rathburn of Greensburg; her sisters, Frances Conner of Shelbyville, Sue Quarazzo of Shelbyville; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Turner “Tuck”, Sebe, George and Jeff Caine; her sisters, Pauline Merchant, Shirley Roddy and Madeline Caine.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6 at the Bass and Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7 at the funeral home with Pastor Jon Porter officiating. Burial will be in the Westport Cemetery.
