Charles Harmon Ketchum, 80 of Greensburg passed away on October 13, 2009 at the Kindred Hospital in Greenwood. He was born on December 2, 1928 in Westport, IN the son of Frank Daily and Eliza (Reed) Ketchum. On August 31, 1956 he married Donna Louise McDermott. Charles served in the United States Army in the 101st and 82nd Airborne during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He is a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Charles was the Owner of Ketchum Shell and worked there for a total of 53 years. 

Survivors include: Wife- Donna Louise Ketchum of Greensburg, Daughters- Mrs. Mark (Lorie) Young and Mrs. Tom (Kathryn) Phillips both of Greensburg, Sons- Charles D. Ketchum, John P. Ketchum, and Maurice Ketchum all of Greensburg, Sister- Pauline Witkemper of Greensburg, Grandchildren- Mary Young, Morgan Young, Deanna Richardson, Alexis Robertson, Felicia Templeton, Wesley Quinton, Johnathon Ketchum, and Jared Ketchum, Great Grandchildren- Owain Robertson, Guin Robertson, and Karson Templeton and Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters- Jemima Moss, Ruby Carr, Ruth York, and Helen Hobbs, Brother- Frank Ketchum, and Granddaughter- Kayla Lynne Young.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 2:30 p.m. Funeral Service will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Keith Dover will be officiating and burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, American Diabetes Association, or the Kidney Foundation.  Online condolences can be made at www.gilliland-howe.com
