William J. “Bill” Rooker, 76, of Greensburg passed away on December 3 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 14, 1933 in Crawfordsville, the son of William and Heloise Tague Rooker. On April 16, 1967 he married Nancy K. Weston. William retired from Delta Faucet after 30 years. He was a member of the Oddfellows, Tree City Campers, and Tree City Squares. He and his wife loved to vacation, travel, and to go camping together and he was very fond his little dog Maggie.
He will be missed by his Wife- Nancy Rooker of Greensburg, Sister- Carol (Eddie) Davenport of Mooresville, and Kathi (Gordon) Ayers of Tualatin, OR. He was preceded in death by his Parents and his Brother- John Smith.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday December 7 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Rev.
