Zilpha T. Frost, 97, formerly of Westport and New Castle, died Nov. 2, 2012 at Heritage House Nursing Home in Richmond.
She was born July 29, 1915 in Widow, Ky.
She was the daughter of William E. and Daisy (Miller) Toler. She retired in 1979 from the Muscatatuck State Hospital. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of North Vernon.
She married Howard William Frost Sept. 10, 1933 in Steubenville, Ky. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1994.
She is survived by her sons; Jerry D. (Rhonda) Frost of New Castle and John L. Frost of St. Cloud, Fla., her daughters: Nettie R. (Devon) Midkiff of Sulphur Springs, and Carolyn K. Hill of Stockbridge, Fla, 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son, William T. Frost; brothers; Jay B., Ertel G., Colum and Kermit Toler, her sisters; Belva Luft and Lexie Frost.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport, Elder Ron Haislup officiating.
Burial will follow in Westport Cemetery.
A time of Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage House Nursing Home at Richmond through the funeral home.
