---- — Anna M. McCullough, 84, of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
Born Dec. 14, 1929 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Harry J. and Mary C. (Hessler) Dwenger.
Anna was a graduate of the Lehmann School in the Westport area. She retired from Maskatutuck State Hospital after 19 years of service.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the St. Lawrence Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a former member of Tree County Players. She was actively involved in Relay for Life in Decatur County.
She married John David McCullough Aug. 16, 1952 at the St. Denis Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1969.
She is survived by 11 children, Donna (Terry) Swinford, Greensburg; Patty (Mark) Carson, Osgood; Margaret Derflinger (George Rohrig), Greensburg; Beverly (Bill) Maggard, Millhousen; David McCullough, Greensburg; Sharon Drake, Greensburg; Carolyn Richards, Napoleon; Simon Harry (Mary) McCullough, Greensburg; Ruth (George) Griffith, Osgood; William (Debbie) McCullough, Lebanon; Glen (Angie) McCullough, Westport; one brother, Edward (Brenda) Dwenger, Greensburg; one sister, Ruth E. Hamilton, Millhousen; 50 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two brothers, Leonard and Dick Dwenger; five sisters, Mary Ellen Veerkamp, Esther Martin, Kathleen Scheidler, Betty Harris, Rose C. Powers; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
A public rosary service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Visitation will also be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg.
Funeral Services begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Interment will be held in the Westport Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Relay for Life or to the Covenant House in New York through the funeral home.
