---- — Jon Alan Hall, 56, of Arcadia, passed away Dec. 31, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 19, 1957 in Noblesville to Joe Sanders and Jean Alice (McKnight) Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jon was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1976. Jon then served his country in the U.S. Army with the First Cavalry Division. For several years, he worked at USIC, LLC, at Carmel, last in the role of supervisor.
Jon was a member of Arcadia Christian Church and of the Cicero American Legion. He was an online commentator for KeepMeInSports.com, an assistant sixth grade basketball coach at Hamilton Heights Middle School and a softball umpire for Hamilton Heights High School. His love for sports was surpassed only by his love for his family.
He married Carrie Lynn (Dockery) Hall who survives him. Also surviving are two daughters Brittney Hall and Eric Robbins, both of Noblesville; a brother Jay Sanders (Kris) Hall of Arcadia; sister Janeanne (David) Leas of Greensburg; grandchildren Colton Robbins, Lillian Turner and Alyse Turner; stepson Caleb Irion and stepdaughter Ashley Irion of Noblesville.
Funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at Arcadia Christian Church, Pastor J.R. Moffatt officiating.
Burial follows at Crown Hill Cemetery near Arcadia. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service, also at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Christian Church.
