Phyllis J. Bowling, 85, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg.
She was born Feb. 3, 1928 in Shelbyville. She was the daughter of Roscoe William and Fern Lucille (Metz) Kincade.
She had worked for the Bill and Edie Harvey family in Naples, Fla. for 14 years.
She was a member of the Greensburg Country Club and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Naples, Fla.
She was married to Calvin R. Bowling April 20, 1946, and he preceded her in death May 31, 2010.
She is survived by one son, David R. Bowling, Osgood; three daughters, Linda L. Langford, Salisbury, N.C., Nancy J. (Stephen O.) Binkley, Greensburg, Dinah K. Hoge, Naples, Fla.; two brothers, Dick Kincade, Lakeland, Fla., Paul Kincade, Aurora; three sisters, Alice Blodgett, Hope, Lois Domeland, Aurora, Mary Ann Blair, Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one daughter, Gloria Ann Holton; three brothers: Bobby Kincade, Bill Kincade, Jim Kincade; one sister, Patty Patrick.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at the funeral home in Greensburg, Rev. Keith Dover officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Association.
