William Everett Duncan, 90, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
Born May 3, 1923 in Erlanger, Ky., he was the son of Robert and Lula (Depew) Duncan.
He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the Army.
He had worked for TRW in California where he worked on programs for the space program.
He was married to Helen A. Day, and she preceded him in death Aug. 29, 2000.
He is survived by one brother, Charles E. (Marybelle) Duncan, Greensburg; six grandchildren, Robert Duncan, Andrew Duncan, Anson, Duncan, Amy Downing, Amanda Duncan, Amber Cooley; several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; two sons, Robert F. Duncan, Paul D. Duncan; four brothers, James Duncan, Albert Duncan, Arnold Duncan, Earl Duncan; two sisters, Imogene Duncan, Roberta Richards.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Graveside services with full military services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at the Rodney Cemetery in Decatur County with Rev. Steve Malone officiating.
