---- — Loretta T. Blankman, 84, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.
Born April 28, 1929 in Harrison, Ohio, she was the daughter of Elmer and Elizabeth (Hoerst) Roell.
Loretta was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
She married Joseph B. Blankman, Jr. May 6, 1950, and he preceded her in death April 15, 2005.
She is survived by one son, Michael (Julie) Blankman, Ft. Wayne; Mary Beth (Robert) Grace, Wellington, Fla., Ruth (Dennis) Coomer, Greensburg; Janet Colson, Greensburg; Dorothy (Jerry) Fry, Greensburg; one brother, Lawrence Roell, Harrison, OH; three sisters, Sr. Bernice Roell, Oldenburg, Ruth Huguenard, Brookville, Mary Vanderpohl, Greensburg; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Jerome, Earl Robert, and Leo Roell; one sister, Hilda Roell; one grandson, Jeremy Capper; one great Granddaughter, Marissa Colson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
A public rosary service for family and friends will be held on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg, Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
