Susan M. Huffmeyer, 48, of Napoleon, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Batesville on Sept. 24, 1965, the daughter of Raymond and Rose (Simmermeyer) Weisenbach.
She was a 1983 graduate of East Central High School and a 1985 graduate of the Institute of Medical Technology in Cincinnati. She married Douglas Huffmeyer Nov. 15, 1986 and he survives.
She worked for Margaret Mary Community Hospital as a medical assistant. Susan was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Napoleon.
In addition to her husband and parents, Susan is survived by her mother-in-law, Alice Huffmeyer; daughters, Holly (Matt) Holland, Audrey (Jeff) Fuller, Heather, Lindsey and Allyson Huffmeyer; son, Corey Huffmeyer; brothers, Joe (Bonnie), John and Jeff (Cindy) Weisenbach; sisters, Kim (Leroy) Hountz, Shari (Mark) Strassell, Sandy (Dave) Volk, and Kristy Weisenbach.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Norman Huffmeyer, and brother-in-law, Mike Huffmeyer.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles on Monday, April 14, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 15, with Pastor Jennifer Owen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Relay for Life, the Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital or to St. John Lutheran Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
