Sonja Jean (Postel) Cox, 37, Letts, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born April 10, 1976 at Luke AFB, Ariz. and raised in Decatur County.
She had worked at the Hampton Inn in Greensburg. She enjoyed doing puzzles, riding motorcycles and spending time with her grand-babies.
Survivors include her mother, Teresa Mae (Roy, Jr.) Caplinger of Greensburg, her father, Michael Leon Postel of Landale, Ariz.; her fiance’, Tim Hollin of Letts; her daughters, Heather Fleener, Kara Fleener and Destiny Cox of Greensburg; her son, Anthony Cox of Letts; her stepsons, Justin Hollin and Travis Hollin both of Letts; her sisters, Jennifer (Jason Owens) Postel of New Point, Laura (Andy Waggoner) Postel of Greensburg, Kelcie Grabill of Phoenix, Ariz. and August Green of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her stepsister, Tonya (Josh) Motz of Greensburg; her grandparents, Leon Postel of Phoenix, Ariz. and Anna Harlow of Lucasville, Ohio; her two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Michael Postel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home, Pastor Mark Vice officiating, with visitation two hours prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Mt. Aerie Cemetery.
