Fannie Marie McCorkhill, 53, Milford, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg.
Born Dec. 27, 1960, in Manchester, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Leroy and Florence (Lunsford) Reed.
Fannie had worked at Cunningham Nursery in Waldron, then at Williams Industries in Shelbyville, then she worked as a QMA at Heritage House in Greensburg. She was currently working at KB Specialty in Greensburg.
She was married to Jack McCorkhill and he survives.
She is also survived by her parents, Leroy and Florence Reed, Milford; one son, Jason (Susan) Nicholas, San Diego, California; one stepdaughter, Shannon McCorkhill, Batesville; three brothers, Tommy (Julie) Reed, Flatrock, Hughie (Melissa) Reed, Greensburg, David (Theresa) Reed, Greensburg; one granddaughter, Allie K. Marie Nicholas and one grandson due in December; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Pleasant Reed and one stepson, Neil McCorkhill.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at Free Will Baptist Church in Milford with Rev. David Douglas and Rev. Austin Ball officiating. A time of visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Interment will be in Milford Cemetery.
