Johnathon Lee Giddings, 36, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 19, 1978, in Greensburg, the son of James Oral and Betty L. (Henson) Giddings.
He was a former Florida resident and had lived in Greensburg the past five years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors and was a member of New Creation Outreach Church. He is survived by his father, James Oral (Ruth) Giddings of Greensburg; mother, Betty L. Owens of Greensburg; grandmother, Barbara Henson of Portland, Tennessee; daughter, Devon Marie McMillan of Rushville; son, Johnathon Michael Giddings of Branson, Missouri; sister, Chris (Danny) Hampton of Greensburg; brothers, Terry E. Hampton and James Robert Giddings both of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Tom and Minnie Giddings; grandfather, James Henson; and aunt, Wilma Kay Wright.
A time of visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home and Crematory. Following Johnathon’s wishes he will be cremated after the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
