Pauline Napier, 83, of New Point, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville.
Born Nov. 24, 1929 in London, Ky. she was the daughter of Thearn & Katherine (Reed) Peterson.
She married Hobert Napier Feb. 25, 1946 in London, Ky. He preceded her in death July 14, 1986.
Mom was a strong and courageous woman. Her strength was gained from her strong belief in God. To occupy her time, mom enjoyed not only her family & friends, going to church, crocheting, gardening, reading the bible, word search, her countless flowers & bingo. Mom cared deeply for everyone she knew, whether it was family or friend. She had the kindest heart and the spirit of God transcended into her daily life. While our mother is no longer with us, she is with us in spirit & she will always be in our hearts.
Pauline is survived by her daughters Betty (Sonny) Davis of Batesville, Abbie (Tim) Bell of Greensburg, Joyce (Brian) Cross of Greensburg and Peggy (Trevor) Cook of New Point, and son James Napier of New Point. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Melissa Rork, David Shelton, Tyler Cook, Kylie Gregory & Kyle Bell, seven great-grandchildren and siblings Josephine Lilly of Indianapolis, Janice Wilson of Greensburg, Rosie Stinger of New Point and Ernie Peterson of New Point.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her children Barbara Ann Napier and Paul Kenneth Napier; brothers Tom, Eugene and Jim Peterson, and one grandson, Terry Davis.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m., all at New Point Christian Church with Pastor Mark Vice officiating. Burial will follow in Rossburg Cemetery, New Point. Online condolences at www.meyersfuneralhomes.com.
