Brandon Scott Coldwell, 19, of Westport, flew into the arms of his Lord and Savior Wednesday, Jan. 30 as a result of an auto accident near Millhousen.
He was born Dec. 2, 1993 in Greensburg, the son of Scott David Coldwell and Brandy Lee (Lozier) Coldwell.
He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County.
He was a senior and athlete at North Decatur High School.
Brandon attended Church on the Rock.
He was an avid gymnast, played football and ran track.
Brandon enjoyed fishing, hunting, helping family members and making people laugh.
Survivors include his mother, Brandy Lee Coldwell of Westport; his father, Scott (Lonita) Coldwell of Rushville; his sisters: Megan (Bryan) Buchanan and Kyla Franklin, both of Versailles, and Kelcey (Blake) Bennett of Greensburg; his brothers: Brian Woosley and Joseph Woosley of Westport; his grandparents: Dessie Lozier of Westport, Peggy and Steve Redelman of Bluffton, Gary and Reva Coldwell of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and Ruth Wilson of Rushville; his great-grandmothers: Ruthann Moore of Greensburg, Mary Coldwell of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; and his girlfriend, Janice Geis of Greensburg.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bobby Lozier, Wayne Coldwell, Doris and Ben Graff, and Shirley and Edward Prewitt.
Funeral services begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Bass and Gasper Funeral Home, Pastor Roger Dean officiating.
Friends and family may call from 2 until time of service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
