Scott Allen Milburn, 24, of Greensburg passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis as a result of an auto accident on May 6.
He was born Jan. 28, 1990, in Columbus, the son of Floyd “Jim” and Kathleen D. (Hill) Milburn. He had been a lifelong resident of Decatur County.
He had attended Ivy Tech and was employed by Hitachi at Greensburg.
Scott attended Heritage Bible Church in Greensburg and enjoyed hunting, fishing and fixing cars.
He married Rebecca (Becca) Blocher Aug. 17, 2010, in Greenfield and she survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Aria Milburn; brother, Chris (Elizabeth) Milburn; grandparents, Angela Stanley, of Indianapolis, Floyd J. & Iva Louise Milburn; aunts, Teresa A. Milburn and Diana Black, both of Greensburg, Sharon Gardner, of Westport and Angie Sharbutt of Kentucky, Iris Mefford of Indianapolis ; uncle Ken Milburn of Greensburg; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Brian and Anthony Milburn; and uncle, John Henry Hill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home, Pastor Jerry Bell officiating.
Burial will be at South Park Cemetery.
