E. Duane “Biggin” Dunagan, 62

Greensburg — E. Duane “Biggin” Dunagan, 62, of Lamar, formerly of St. Paul, passed away June 6, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital Gateway Campus in Newburgh.

He was born January 27, 1951, in Shelbyville, the son of Emery Flynn and Marilyn June (McNeely) Dunagan.

“Biggin” graduated from Waldron High School in 1969. He was formerly employed as a tool and die maker at KT Corp/Triumph for over 40 years and was a Reserve Conservation Officer.

“Biggin” was a member of Conerstone Christian Fellowship Church, NRA, Wild Turkey Federation and Southern Indiana Horse Rescue and leaves his horse, Ibrey, behind. He was also an avid deer and turkey hunter.

Per his request, “Biggin” was an organ donor.

Survivors include his sons, Eric (Jessica) Dunagan of Indianapolis and Frank McKee of Greenwood; daughters Anna (Kevin) Muse of Greensburg, Renee Pickett of Indianapolis and Meshelle (Art) Abshire of Columbia, S.C.; sisters, LaDonna (Larry) Stewart of Shelbyville and Deborah (Leon) House of Needham; brother Edward J. Dunagan of Milwaukee, Wis.; grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Evan and Griffin Dunagan, Ashton, Michah, Luke, and Abrianna Muse; great-grandchild, Isaac Smith; companion Shulah Greatwater of Lamar; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob and Roger Dunagan.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m., June 22 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church at 7414 East Michigan Road in Waldron. Pastor George Mitchell will be officiating. Friends may gather one half hour prior to the service. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory in Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made to E. Duane “Biggin” Dunagan Memorial Fund, in care of Freeman Family Funeral Homes at 819 South Harrison Street in Shelbyville.
