Donald C. Sandefur, 74, of Adams, passed away December 10, 2013.
Donald was born Aug. 28, 1939, in Shelby County, the son of Clarence L. and Justine O. Brannin Sandefur.
He attended high school in Bartholomew County. He married Linda Scudder in 1996 and she survives. Donald was a member of Bible Mission Church in Shelbyville. He worked as a supervisor at Knauf Fiberglass for 33 years, until his retirement in 2003.
Donald enjoyed his horses and dogs, but most of all liked spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife; son, Matthew (Heaven) Cruser; daughter, Tracy (Doug) Rogers; sister, Patricia Smith; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, William “Billy” Sandefur; three brothers, Jack Sandefur, James Sandefur, Edward Ahause and one sister, Darlene Snyder.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to the time of service on Friday, Dec. 13, at Glenn E. George Funeral Home in St. Paul. The funeral will begin at noon on Friday, with Rev. Robert Prather officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Adams.
