Timothy James Moon, 53, of Sullivan, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Ill.
Celebration of Life services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Cathy Ann Porter officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with Honor Guard provided by the Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club.
Memorials are suggested to the family or to the Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club.
Tim was born July 28, 1959 in Seymour, Ind., the son of Emmett William and Mary Jane Hatfield Moon.
He had been a farmhand for Swits Farms, Gays and had been a truck driver for Earl Warker Company, Sullivan and Rural King, Mattoon. He was a member of the Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club and the Mattoon Moose.
Surviving are his daughters, Amy (Randy) Haley, Stacey (Chris) Sundal and Vicci Moon all of Greensburg, Ind.; son, Dustin Moon of Sullivan; step-daughter, Andrea (Kory) Hamilton of Williamsport, Ind.; sisters, Paggy Day of North Vernon, Ind., Tonya Moore of Vevay, Ind., Judy Green of Seymour, Ind., Cathy Lee Moon of Nevada, Cindy Kessler of Paris, Ind.; brother, William Moon of Napoleon, Ind. and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
