Bernard W. Neville, 69, of Avon, passed away Tuesday , March 25, 2014, after an extended illness. He was born June 29, 1944, in Columbus, to the late William F. and Myrle A. Neville.
He was a 1962 graduate of Clarksburg High School. He served in the U.S. Army for July 1965 to July 1967. He was deployed to Vietnam with the 577th Engineer Battalion.
He worked at Howard W. Sams for 23 years, Minolta and Bright Point. He enjoyed model railroading, spending time with his family, gardening, woodworking and watching his grandsons perform in band competitions.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Paula; children, Michelle and Scott (Karen); grandchildren, David and Matthew; sisters, Lois Wainscott and Marjorie (Roy) Robbins; brothers, Earl Dean (Dorothy) and Maurice (Phyllis) Neville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, Russell, Bill and Merrill.
