Greensburg — Gale Rudicel, 81, of Milroy, passed away Dec. 1, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on September 1, 1932 in Connersville, the son of Gale and Zella (Cramer) Rudicel. He retired from the United States Air Force in July of 1972 then worked for Jackson Office Supply as a repairman. On December 3, 1952 he married Pauline Caldwell. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurel.
Survivors include his wife Pauline Rudicel; sons Martin (Sheila) Rudicel, Bryan (Mary) Rudicel, Charles (Pam) Rudicel, and daughter Karen Ray; sister- Natalie Shephard, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Gaylord Rudicel, and brother Donald Rudicel.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Gilliland Howe Funeral Home.
Funeral services begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery with military honors. Pastor John David Jordan will be officiating.
