Greensburg — Clarence E. Brancamp, 85, of Greensburg, passed away on August 18, 2013. He was born on September 18, 1927, in Burney, Indiana, the son of John and Viola Tichenor Brancamp. He married Emily Callahan on Christmas Day in 1949 in a small service, at their minister’s house, in Greensburg. Clarence was a Bridge Engineer for the State of Indiana Highway Department. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Gideon’s, and was a Deacon and Trustee of the Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Children- Linda (Kirby) Smith, Dale (Barbara) Brancamp, Marcia (Jack) Gibson, Clarence Michael (Betina) Brancamp, Grandchildren- Eric (Tanya) Smith, Melissa Gibson, Erin (Brent) Sutherland, Jeremy (Georgia) Gibson, Robert Dale (Megan) Brancamp, Shawn Brancamp, Great Grandchildren, Carter and Blake Smith, Riley and RJ Gibson, Zackary and Isabella Orr, Breanna and Gabe Sutherland, Sisters- Norma (Robert) Schreiner, Dorothy (Frank, Sr.) Schreiner, and Wilma Buening. He was preceded in death by his: Wife- Emily Brancamp, Granddaughter- Angela Brancamp, Great Granddaughter- Alexondra Maya Brancamp, Father- John Brancamp, and Mother- Viola Brancamp.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Trinity Baptist Church, on the corner of N. Broadway and Barachel Lane, Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will also be at the Church, Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Roy Redd will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Flat Rock Cemetery in Osgood, Indiana. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Trinity Baptist Church.
