Melvin and Lucinda Cox settled near Clarksburg Indiana In the early 1930s. They had eight children, four boys and four girls. Nettie (Cox) Grote, Willard Cox, Hubert Cox, Jan (Cox) Musser, Mike Cox, Marylou (Cox) Woodard, Harold Cox and Imogene (Cox) Henry. The two youngest daughters Imogene and Marylou co-hosted a reunion of the grandchildren of Melvin and Lucinda. There were 22 grandchildren of which only 14 of these remain living. Many of these people had not seen each other for as many as 35 years. The event was held at the house of Jay and Imogene Henry on Park Road in Greensburg on Saturday, June 7, 2014.
