GJHS students download eBooks

Greensburg Daily News

Greensburg — Keith Kaffenberger and Vanessa Martin of the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library recently visited Greensburg Junior High’s Library Media Center.

The pair taught a core group of students how to borrow library eBooks by downloading them onto various personal devices.

Students learned how to download books onto computers, phones, and eReaders. These students left with a new book on their device and enough knowledge to be able to teach their fellow students how to utilize this valuable resource. Students Delaney Bruns, James Dean, Cameron DeWeese, Kyran Luken, Zoie Rynard, Kaylea Taylor, and Sally Wagner completed this first round of training. These students will share their new knowledge with the students and staff at the junior high.

Delaney Bruns recently went through the eReader training sponsored jointly by the Greensburg Public Library and the Greensburg Jr. High Library Media Center.  The day after training, Delaney came to school and announced: “I downloaded, like, five books last night!”
