Greensburg — Administrators within the Greensburg Community Schools system are requesting feedback from parents on the recent move to the new balanced calendar and the two-week fall break.

Superintendent Tom Hunter told the Daily News parents can offer their opinions on both by heading to www.greensburg.k12.in.us.

“This would help us get better input on how to design next year’s calendar,” said Hunter.

The short survey queries parents on whether or not they were pleased with this year’s extended break and allows the option to select which calendar (among three options) he or she prefers. There is also a suggestion box for comments.

Under the new calendar, students in all three Greensburg schools received a two week fall break. The traditional calendar gave students a two-day break. A third option that would give students a week off for fall is also available.
