South Decatur does well at Eastern Greene

South Decatur took a long road trip for their first contact against

another school when they made the two-hour trek to Bloomfield on

Friday night.

The results reported from the athletic department showed the effort

was worth the trip as South scored three times against the

Thunderbirds without giving up a score.

The Cougars had a lot of positives from the game including being

able to get a lot of kids on and off the field. Possibly the biggest

positive was the play of two players, Jordan AmRhein and Tyler

Ewing, who were pressed into service as quarterbacks when the

team had no experience returning at the position.

South opens their season Friday.
