Greensburg Junior High’s Cross Country team competed in the Junior High Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference meet hosted by South Dearborn Thursday night. The boy’s team finished in a respectable third place following Batesville and East Central and the girls’ team finished fifth.

The top ten runners received All-Conference honors. There were three Pirate boys who receives this honor - Ethan Sebastian who finished second, Taylor Reed who claimed eighth place and Colin Evans who came in tenth. The lone All-Conference team member for the Lady Pirates was Tori Helms who finished in eighth place.

“Reed, Kyle Colson, Helms, Channon Brown, and Abby Denton all ran their best times of the season, said Coach Adam Zollman. “It is great to see them peak at the end of the season. We have our huge invite on Monday and I hope all of our kids can PR one last time,”
