Greensburg — Posted below are the Decatur County sports digest announcements for March 1.

Decatur County Soccer registration

Spring Registration is open! Please go register for Spring Soccer Season TODAY at http://www.dcysc.org/. Registration will end Monday, March 3. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Suzanne Campfield at (812) 614-1494.

There will be six regular season games played on Saturdays. Most games will be played between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday mornings.

All games will be played at the home fields next to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. Practices will begin the week of March 24. Games will be on March 29, April 5, 12, 19, 26, and May 10.

 

Greensburg selling sectional tickets

Greensburg High School started selling boys basketball sectional tickets Wednesday. The sales continue from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Monday, March 3.

Only season tickets can be purchased for $10. Session tickets for each night can only be purchased at the door on the night of the game for $6.

 

Greensburg Youth Baseball signups

Greensburg Youth Baseball signups began Wednesday and will continue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Decatur County Parks and Recreation. Signups will take place on Saturdays beginning today, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Parks and Rec.

The last day for registration is Wednesday, March 26.

The cost is $50 for the first child, $40 for the second child, $30 for the third, and $20 for any additional child.

Anyone wishing to be a coach in Greensburg Youth Baseball for the upcoming season should contact Larry Ricketts at 812-560-9086, or Joe Cain at 812-614-4529.
