The Greensburg 7A boys basketball team extended its winning streak to four with a 49-37 win over Sunman Dearborn.
Both teams played even in the first stanza with the Pirates holding a slim 10-9 lead. They extended the lead 22-17 at the half on a 3-pointer by Mason McLeod as the horn sounded.
The Trojans came back in the third to lead by one point before the young Pirates rallied to end the quarter leading 35-29.
Andrew Comer led all scorers with 20 points. Mason McLeod played a nice game scoring 17 points, grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out a season high five assists. Cole Carder had a solid game going 4-for-8 from the field with eight points, and pulling down five boards.
Kyle Shaver, Trevor Foster and Dylan Mann scored two points each with Mann also grabbing four boards. Foster had a season high four steals.
This was probably our best game overall this season with only nine turnovers,” said coach Bob Barker.
